Mustafa: Nominating Barzani for 3rd term to end democracy in Kurdistan Region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Lateef Mustafa, of Taghyeer bloc pointed out “Nominating the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, for 3rd term is to end democracy in Kurdistan Region.”

He stated to IraqiNews.com “The aim behind limiting the terms of the President is to avoid dictatorship.”

“Barzani completed two terms so has no chance to third term,” he added.

“We will do all the possible actions to preserve democracy in Kurdistan Region,” he concluded.
