1st Iraqi engineer wins Goldman global Prize

(IraqiNews.com) The President of the United States of America, Barak Obama, hosted the Iraqi Director of New Aden Project, nature of Iraq, Azzam Alosh, on the occasion of winning the Goldman global Prize.The Iraqi engineer won the Goldman prize, which is granted for an Iraqi person for the first time, for his efforts in revitalizing the Iraqi marshes.The value of the prize is USD (150,000).

The Iraqi engineer succeeded in revitalizing half of the Iraqi marshes area located to the southern of Iraq by founding non-profits organization (The good nature of Iraq) in 2004. \END\
