Policeman arrested for extorting citizens in Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The specialized sides arrested a policeman who assumed the identity of an employee within the Integrity Committee to extort the citizens in Nineveh province.

A statement by the Integrity Committee received by IraqiNews.com cited “The investigation department within the Committee stated that the policeman extorted the citizens in the governmental institutions to receive a bribe from them stating that he is an employee within the Committee.”

“The judge issued an arrested warrant against him where he is being investigated to reveal the actions that he did,” the statement concluded.
