Iraq, Kuwait conclude 2 MoUs

(IraqiNews.com) Iraq and Kuwait concluded on Tuesday two Memorandum of Understandings concerning the border demarcation between both countries and financing of residential project in the frontier Um Qasr district in Basra province.

The Foreign Minister has arrived in Kuwait on last Monday, in an official visit that lasts two days.

the Foreign Ministry of Kuwait reported today that “The Kuwaiti side which signed the two MoUs was represented by the Kuwaiti Deputy Premier, and the Foreign Minister, Sabah Khalid al-Sabah, while the Iraqi side was represented by the Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari.”

“The two parties held talks which tackled the bilateral relations between both countries and the positive steps taken in all fields especially those pertaining to the concerned UN Security Council’s resolutions. They also reviewed the prospects of future mutual cooperation between both of the countries,” according to the report.
