Kurdistan PM stresses readiness to negotiate with Kurdish opposition[05/31/2013]

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Najervan Barzani stressed that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the Kurdistani Democratic Party and the Kurdish people reject any language of threats which exploitation for the current situations and we are ready to dialogue with the Kurdish opposition to maintain the unity of the Kurdish people.

Barzani added in a statement reported by the PUK during inaugurating a hospital in Sulaimaniya city “Marginalization or neglecting Sulaimaniya in the regional government’s programme or by any other side is unacceptable and will not happen, since Sulaimaniya has clear role in the cultural and political history of the Kurds.”

“The next session of the Kurdistan Cabinet will be held in Sulamianiya and we will hold a meeting with the commission that issued the decision of Sulaimaniya, Capital of Kurdistan Culture project to prepare all the arrangements to celebrate this ceremony,” He added.

Kurdistan Region Premier revealed that “The Kurdistan Region government is planning to launch larger works and found suitable ground to the investors in Sulaimaniya,” stressing “We will not accept any threat and we are ready to hold dialogue with all sides to unify the Kurdish people. we can make use of the opposition’s capabilities.”
