Bayati expresses his optimism over endorsing law of criminalizing Baath Party

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abbas al-Bayati, of the State of Law Coalition expressed his optimism over endorsing the law of criminalizing Baath Party after resuming the parliament sessions.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “After the parliament holiday, we hope the heads of the political blocs to meet with the parliament chairmanship to include this law within the sessions’ agendas.”

“This law aims at supporting the stability and it must be drafted according to Article 7 of the Constitution,” he added.

He expressed his hope over reconciliation between the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to participate in enhancing the legislation of the laws and presenting the services.
