5 Civilians killed, wounded in Balad

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Five civilians were killed and wounded when a car bomb exploded in Balad district of southern Salah-il-Din province.Security source told IraqiNews.com ”The car bomb, which was parked near a restaurant in Balad district, exploded on Monday noon and resulted in killing a civilian and wounding four others, ” noting that “The explosion of the car bomb burned four civil vehicles.””The security forces hurried to the explosion area, transporting the civilian’s dead body to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source added.
