Weapons cache seized in al-Qaem

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Police forces seized a weapons cache in eastern al-Qaem in Anbar, a security officer of al-Qaem police directorate said on Wednesday. “The depot was hidden underground at a rural area in eastern al-Qaem, west of Baghdad,” Captain Bacim Fawaz told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operation was based on intelligence tips provided by local residents,” he added. “The depot contains 10 missiles, 11 mortar shells, an amount of TNT, 15 Kalashnikovs, 5 Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) and an amount of explosives,” he noted.
