Egypt seeks to participate in Iraq infrastructure projects

(IraqiNews.com) The Egyptian Government is negotiating with Iraq regarding hiring Egyptian companies to deliver gas to houses and participating in infrastructure projects.

The Chief of Egypt Gas Company, Fuad Rashad, reported in press statement that “Egypt has intensive communications with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil regarding the participation of the Egyptian companies in Iraq reconstruction by implementing several projects aim to deliver gas to the houses of citizens in Iraq.”

“A delegation of Egypt Gas Company is currently visiting Iraq to be acquainted with all the details of the Iraq-Egypt agreement,” he added.”The Egyptian company is looking forward to participate in delivering natural gas to citizens’ houses in Iraq and Kurdistan Region,” he pointed out. END
