Sadr urges members of Ahrar bloc to ensure posts within next PCs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, called the leaders of the Sadr Trend and a number of Ahrar bloc members to his current residency in Beirut.

Informed source stated to IraqiNews.com “Sadr and the members of Ahrar bloc discussed the future political situation of the Trend.”

“The meeting focused on the political alliances between Ahrar bloc and other wining blocs in the Local elections,” he added.

“Sadr urged the Trend to speed up settling the alliances to ensure the posts within the next Provincial Councils,” he concluded.
