Civilian, IP wounded in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Two persons were wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the south of Salah-il-Din province. Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The IED, which was emplaced on a side of the highway, exploded targeting a police patrol in Balad district of southern Tikrit city.”

“The explosion of the IED resulted in wounding a civilian and a policeman,” the source added. “The ambulances rushed into the incident area and transported the wounded individuals to the nearest hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
