Security official survives assassination attempt western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Mahalabiya Police Directorate survived an assassination attempt of western Mosul.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “AN Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Mahalabiya district of western Mosul to target the Commander of Mahalabiyah distrct Colonel, Abdul Qader Mahmoud, resulting in injuring two of his guards.”

“The security forces blocked the explosion area and transferred the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
