5 army officers killed, injured in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Two officers were killed while three others were injured due to an IED targeting their patrol to the north of Mosul.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED that was emplaced at Ariyan crossroad northern Mosul exploded targeting army patrol, thus resulted in killing two officers and wounding three others.”

“Security force blocked the incident spot, then transported the injured officers to a hospital while the dead bodies of the victims were sent to the morgue,” the source added.
