Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Aliya Nusaiyf of the Hurra Iraqiya Slate accused the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Iraq, Martin Kobler of protecting the Kuwaiti interests in Iraq.

The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, announced on Monday, shifting his Special Representative in Iraq, Martin Kobler to Congo.

Nusaiyf said “The Kuwaitis are supposed to offer Kobler reward in the end of finishing his mission in Iraq which is settling the pending issues between Iraq and Kuwait for favor of Kuwait where he was interested in the Kuwait’s benefits more than the Kuwait Ambassador to Iraq.”

Mutahidoun (United) Coalition headed by the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, described the decision of transferring Kobler to Congo as late step.

The UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) described this decision as periodical procedure.
