Explosives found in Babel

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Police forces in Babel province found a large amount of explosives in northern Hilla city, a local security source said on Monday. “Today, police forces conducted a wide-scale search operation in al-Munshaat neighborhood, al-Iskandriya district (50 km north of Hilla),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One ton of TNT explosives, 5 tons of C4 explosives and a large amount of artillery shells were seized during the operation,” the source noted.
