Iraqi aircraft attacked in Syria

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Syrian Transportation Minister, Mahmoud Saeed, announced that the news over attacking an Iraq aircraft and injuring its passengers is “an Exaggerated news,” noting that “It is only one mortar shell that attacked the airport and did not cause any casualties where we delayed the landing of two flights coming from Lathiqiya in Syria and Kuwait.”

The official Syrian News Agency quoted Saeed as saying “There was not any Iraqi aircraft in the airport, but there was a Syrian aircraft that wanted to go to Iraq.”
