Barzani, Abdul Aziz discuss Kurdistan RegionG issue

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, stressed the importance of maintaining stability and development in Kurdistan Region, calling for rejecting violence and extremism which will lead to tearing of the social peace and security.

A statement by the Presidency of the Region, received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) today, cited that “President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani received yesterday the leader of the Islamic Movement in Kurdistan, Irfan Ali Abdul Aziz, who expressed at the outset of the meeting, his happiness to meet with President Barzani, praising his role in addressing all attempts to undermine the legitimate rights of the people of Kurdistan and pointed out that many of these gains were the result of Barzani’s efforts and his insistence on gaining these achievements.”

Barzani, according to the statement, welcomed the General Advisor of the Kurdish Islamic Movement and his accompanying delegation, stressing that “It is the duty of all Kurdish parts to maintain stability and development of Kurdistan Region and the rejection of violence and extremism which will disrupt peace and social security in the Region.”
