IA continues operations in Anbar to chase Qaeda elements

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Army continues its operations to chase the Qaeda elements in Anbar province to secure the borders with Jordan and Syria.

A key security official stated in a press conference “The current operations in the northern and southern island achieved 80% of success.”

“There were many forces brought from different provinces where they deployed on the borders with Jordan,” he added.

“There are some areas that are not controlled yet where the terrorists attempted to use a border line to move through these three countries, but the IA foiled their attempt by killing two of them,” he concluded.
