2nd Baghdad blast leaves 15 casualties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was killed and 14 others wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in al-Qahira neighborhood, eastern Baghdad, the second blast in the Iraqi capital on Sunday, a senior security official said. “An IED went off near a gathering of people close to a water reservoir in al-Qahira neighborhood, eastern Baghdad, killing one civilian and injuring 14 others,” Maj. General Qassem Atta, the official spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command (BOC), told IraqiNews.com news agency. Earlier on Sunday (Feb. 8), an Iraqi police source said two civilians were wounded when an IED went off in al-Nahda area, central Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
