MP praises mechanism of forming new local governments

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed al-Da’mi of the White Iraqiya Slate praised the new mechanism the political blocs adopted in forming the provincial councils.

Da’mi told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The formation of the Provincial Councils for the current term is a unique experience of its kind,” noting “The process of forming the PCs ended with good results where all achieved posts in the formation of those councils the last of which was Karbala PC, and we are waiting for completing Nineveh and Anbar provinces’ local elections.”

The formation process of the new PCs has started two weeks ago after one month of announcing the results of the local elections which was conducted on 20th of last April.
