Security alert announced in Najaf preparing to Shabaniya pilgrimage

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The security bodies summoned all its forces throughout Najaf province in anticipation of any security breaches.The Media Director of Najaf Police Department, Colonel Muqdad al-Musawi, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”The alert procedures included banning vehicles movement in the whole Old city and deployment of security checkpoints at border inlets and throughout the city.””Thee security plan will last until the end of Shabaniya pilgrimage the anniversary of Imam Mahdi’s Birthday,” he added.The Ministry of Transportation has announced on last Friday the allocation of (300) buses to transport pilgrims on Shabaniya occasion on 25/ June. \END\
