Urgent – .Kobler arrives to Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Iraq, Martin Kobler arrived to Najaf on Saturday morning and met with the Supreme Religious Authority, Ali al-Sistani.

IraqiNews.com reported said “Kobler arrived to Najaf and visited Sistani at his residence,” noting “It is expected Kobelr will hold a press conference post the visit, then he will visit Imam Ali’s holy shrine.”

Kobler is conductsinghis last tour prior to end of his mission in Iraq.

The UNSG announced on last Monday transferring his Special Representative for Iraq’s mandate to Congo to chair the UN mission there.
