FIFA approves to replace Iraqi goalkeeper

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The physician of the Iraqi national football youth team, Abdul-Karim al-Safar, stated to IraqiNews.com that ”The Federation of the International Football Association (FIFA) has approved the request that was presented by the Iraqi delegation to replace the goalkeeper, Saqar Ajel, with his colleague, Fahad Talib, due to his injury which will keep him out of field for about three to four weeks.””The Iraqi Football Association presented a formal request to FIFA in order to replace the Iraqi goalkeeper and the FIFA approved the requet after being acquainted with the medical reports regarding Saqar Ajel injury,” he added.”The Iraqi goalkeeper Fahad Talib participated the Iraqi Team its training units before the match with Egypt while the previous goalkeeper, Ajel, has returned to Baghdad to complete his recovery,” he pointed out.
