Civil Defense forces put out fire in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Civil Defense Forces managed to extinguish a fire broke out in a hotel in Najaf province.The Director of Media Department of Najaf Civil Defense Directorate, Sarmad Hamzah, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”The Civil Defense Forces succeeded in extinguishing the fire that broke out in Hawa’a hotel in Rasul Street in the Old City of Najaf province.””The fire erupted due to an electric short circuit at an electricity generator exists at the roof of the hotel,” he added, noting that “The highest floor of the hotel was burned completely.”

”The teams of the Civil Defense Directorate helped in rescuing the residents of the hotel and extinguishing the fire which broke out at 3:00 A.M.,” he pointed out.”The fire did not result in any human casualties, but huge material damage to the hotel,” he concluded. \END\
