Urgent – Salah il-Din Governor rejects ministerial committee’s visit to Tuz Khurmatu

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Salah il-Din Governor, Ahmed Abdullah al-Jubouri condemned the visit of the ministerial committee to Tuz Khurmatu district without the awareness of the local government in the province.

The ministerial committee formed by the Cabinet headed by the Deputy Premier, Hussein al-Shahristani held meeting in Tuz district this morning to discuss the security deterioration in the district while the Kurdish members withdrew from the meeting because they were not given chance to express their views.

Informed source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Jubouri will send a message to the central government to state his refusal for this visit for not informing the local government of Salah il-Din.”

“The Governor will assure in the message his rejection to exploit the convergence between the central government Kurdistan Region to harm interests of Salah il-Din and its districts and sub-districts,” the source added.
