Blast death toll jumps to 23, wounded 50 – medic

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The deaths from an earlier suicide bombing attack near the Police Academy in Baghdad rose to 23 and the wounded to 50, a medic said on Sunday. “Al-Kindi hospital today (March 8) received 23 dead people and 50 wounded others victims of the suicide blast that took place near the Police Academy in eastern Baghdad amidst a gathering of police recruits,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
