Candidate for Kurdistan Region Presidency promises to reduce President’s authorities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A candidate for the Presidency of Kurdistan region, Qadir Aziz, promised to reduce the authorities of the President and to shift from the Presidential system to the Parlaimentary.

In a press conference on Saturday for reviewing his political program, he said “I decided to nominate for the President post to change the political system into Parlaimentary.”

“When I will win in the elections, I will quit my post as the Chairman for my Party because I will be for all people rather than for one political side,” he added.

He called “The Independent High Electoral Commission to conduct the elections on time.”
