16 wanted men arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces arrested 16 persons wanted on “terror and criminal” charges in a security operation north of Basra and seized a weapons cache west of the city, said a source from the Basra police information office. “The arrests took place in the areas of Hartha, Garma and Mdaina,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The cache was seized in an area 40 km west of the city,” he said.
