Maliki congratulates Mansour for being assigned as temporary President of Egypt

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, congratulated the head of the Egyptian Supreme Constitutional Court, Adli Mansour, for being assigned as the temporary President of Egypt.

In the congratulatory letter sent to Mansour, Maliki said “I would like to congratulate you for being the temporary President of Egypt where we reaffirm our support to the Egyptian people and its right decision and confirm that we are confident of the ability of the Egyptian people to pass the difficult situation.”

“We are also confident that you will be able to achieve the demands of the Egyptian people by holding early elections and consolidate the national reconciliation in addition to applying the road man that you adopted and was supported by the Egyptian people,” he added.

“We hope to develop our mutual relations and to make the peoples of the two countries live in security and stability,” he concluded.
