Shawees, Italian Deputy PM discuss upgrading bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawees, and the Italian Deputy PM discussed upgrading bilateral relations between the two countries.

A statement received by IraqiNews.com quoted Shawees as saying “Iraq is looking for developing relations with Italy in all aspects especially in investment field by inviting the Italian companies to work in Iraq.”

“Shawees called his Italian counterpart to facilitate the process of granting Visas to Iraqis especially the businessmen,” the statement added.

“Over the regional developments, Shawees confirm that Iraq is observing the current events in Egypt calling for adhering to the constitution and preserving the civil peace,” the statement concluded.
