Rahim: “Iraqi Youth Team to win against S. Korea though my absence”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The striker of the Iraqi Football Team Under 20, Muhanned Abdul rahim, assured that “My absence from the next match against the South Korean team on Sunday within the competitions of the World Cup U 20 held in Turkey will not affect the attacking capacity of the Iraqi team.”

He stated to Iraqi News “We have many effective substitutes who can make the difference such as Farhan Shakour who scored the goal against the Paraguay and achieved the victory for Iraq on the quarter final match.”

He emphasized that “The Iraqi team does not depend on a certain player since seven different players have scored the seven goals for Iraq during its previous matches in the championship,” stressing that “This is the secret behind our success as a team.”
