Maliki congratulates new Emir of Qatar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki sent a congratulatory letter for the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani for assuming his new post as the Emir of Qatar.

Maliki’s letter stated “It is to my pleasure to send, on behalf of the Iraqi People, the warmest congratulations for the occasion of announcing you as the new Emir of Qatar,” noting that “We are looking forward for better fraternal relations between Iraq and Qatar at your era to serve the interests of both Peoples.”
