Maliki, Indian official discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, discussed with the Indian Energy Minister the possibility of preparing the memorandums of understanding to sign them in India while visiting it.

A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Maliki received the Indian Energy Minister and the accompanying delegation where Maliki called for developing the mutual relations between the two countries in all fields.”

“Maliki assured that there are many chances to develop the mutual relations, calling to preparing the memorandums of understanding to sign them when he visits India,” the statement added.

“The Indian official expressed the readiness of his country to develop the relations with Iraq, assuring that the Indian companies are constructing an oil field and a fertilizer factory that will be accomplished soon,” the statement concluded.
