Southern provinces’ police commanders meet in Basra
BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A conference for security cooperation between Iraq’s southern provinces was held on Monday in Basra, and attended by police commanders of Basra, Missan, Thi-Qar, and Wassit. “The conference would be held on a monthly basis,” Colonel Abdilkareem al-Zaydi, the spokesperson of Basra’s police command, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “It will consider security coordination between the provinces,” he continued. “A number of recommendations were issued by the conference aimed at reinforce mutual security cooperation between the provinces,” he said.
