UNAMI: First group of MKO elements arrived in Germany

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Special Representative of the UN’s Secretary General to Iraq, Martin Kobler, welcomed resettling the first group, comprises seven persons, of the elements of the Mujahideen Khalq Organization in Germany.

A statement by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) received by IraqiNews.com quoted Kobler, as saying “These elements are the first group out of 100 persons that Germany agreed upon resettling them.”

“I would like to thank the German government for granting these elements a new homeland that eagerly needed the protection of the international community,” he concluded.
