Barzani to announce his final attitude towards prolonging his term on Tuesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani will announce his final attitude towards the decision of prolonging his term.

Kurdistan Region parliament had approved on 30th of past June the proposal of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on prolonging Barzani’s term for two years.

Informed source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “During his charging for the meeting of the Kurdistani Democratic Party, Barzani referred to the Kurdistan Region parliament’s decision over prolonging the term of Kurdistan current presidency where he decided to declare his final attitude concerning this topic on Tuesday.”

The opposition Taghyeer bloc called earlier, the federal government and the parliament to interfere to prevent this decision.
