5 AQI members nabbed in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Five members of al-Qaeda on Monday were captured near Baaquba city, according to Diala’s police chief. “On Monday morning, police forces arrested five al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) members during a military operation in Baaquba,” Staff Maj. Gen. Abdelhussein al-Shamri told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Those arrested were involved in a Sunday (Feb. 15) attack on a police patrol vehicle in al-Mansouriya district (45 km northeast of Baaquba), which wounded four patrolmen,” Shamri added.
