Barzani ratifies extending Kurdistan Region parliament term

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, ratified extending the term of the parliament of Kurdistan Region.

The Media Advisor of the Kurdistani Regional Government, Tariq Jawhar, stated in a press statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan “Barzani ratified six decisions including the decisions of the parliament of Kurdistan Region.”

“Barzani ratified the decision of the parliament of Kurdistan Region No. 18 on the 30th of June, 2013 over extending its term according to his decision No. 22 in the 9th of July, 2013,” he concluded.
