Kurdish MP rules out crisis in Kurdistan Region over extending Barzani’s term

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mahma Khalil, of the Kurdistani Alliance ruled out any possible crisis among the Kurdish sides in Kurdistan over extending the term of the President, Masoud Barzani.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “There is no crisis in Kurdistan Region and all sides believe in democracy which means majority against the opposing minority.”

“Extending Barzani’s term is a precautionary procedure to prevent a constitutional violation and the elections will determine the political map at the end,” he concluded.
