Bani Tamim tribe to be ready to defend itself if security forces fail to protect its people, says Tamimi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mansour al-Timimi of the State of Law Coalition assured that Bani Tamim tribe will be ready to defend itself if the security forces unable to protect its people.

It is worth mentioning that Bani Tamim clan in Diyala province is constantly subject to armed attacks.

Tamim said “The series of assaults against Bani Tamim tribe aims at sparking sectarian and tribal strife, criticizing, at the same time, the bad performance of the security forces and their failure to protect the people lives.”

“Bani Tamim people will be ready to defend themselves if the security forces fail to protect them,” he added appreciating Bani Tamim tribe’s role in preserving the social fabric and the country’s unity as well as its role in combating the terrorism.”
