Rasoul, Amiri discuss political situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Kosert Rasoul discussed with a delegation from Badr Organization headed by Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Organization, the political situation in Iraq and the region.

The PUK website reported “Rasoul received Amir in Kurdistan where they discussed the current political situation in Iraq and the events in the region and they exchanged views over many other important issues.”

The delegation pointed out that the visit aims to exchange views about the political situation with PUK.

For his part, Rasoul said “We have strong and brotherly relations with the Iraqi political parties especially with the Shiites, stressing “Ensuring the success of the democracy is at the forefront of our goals.”
