IED defused, no casualties reported

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Monday defused an improvised explosive device (IED) in downtown Jalawlaa district, according to a local security source. “On Monday, police patrol vehicles found an explosive charge in downtown Jalawlaa district (30 km southwest of Khanaqin),” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The device had been placed in an overcrowded area in the district,” the source noted, adding that no casualties were reported.
