8 civilians killed, injured in Mosul [07/16/2013]

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Seven civilians were killed and injured due to fall of mortars to the south of Mosul.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen fired five mortars targeting building of army Brigade in Hammam al-Aleel sub-district southern Mosul, one of the mortars fell on a house in al-Askari neighborhood in central the sub-district resulted in killing a civilian and wounding seven others.”

“The security forces cordoned off the incident spot, then transported the injured persons to a hospital land the dead body to the morgue,” the source added.
