MP calls parliament to endorse delayed law drafts during current term

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sahwa al-Jag, of the Kurdistani Alliance called the parliament to endorse the delayed law drafts during its current term.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, she said “There are many delayed law drafts since years where some of them are from the previous term of the parliament due to the political disputes,” noting that “The remaining period of the current term of the parliament is enough to endorse these law drafts if some political blocs will show some concessions and adhere to the constitution.”

“The parliament chairmanship is requested to include the important law in the agendas of the parliament sessions to endorse them,” she concluded.
