Najih Hamood wins membership of Arab Union

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Chairman of the Iraqi Football Association, Najih Hamood, won the membership of the Executive Office of the Arab Football Union within the elections which occurred on Jeddah city of the Saudi Arabia on Monday evening.The First Deputy of the IFA, Abdul Khaliq Masud, stated to IraqiNews.com ”The Head of the IFA, Najih Hamood, won a four year term of membership in the Arab Union Executive Office after collecting (11) votes out of (20) members that represent the General Commission, and during the second round equalized with the Jordanian Salah-il-Din Sabra with (13) votes for each.”The previous Chairman of the Iraqi Football Association, Hussein Saeed, was serving the post of the Second Deputy Chairman of the Arab Union in the former term. \END\
