IED blows up northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded on Wednesday to the north of Tikrit without causing casualties.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED that was emplaced in a garbage dump in al-Mashhad village in Shurqat district of northern Tikrit went off without leaving casualties.”

“Security force launched search campaign in anticipation of presence of other IEDs,” the source added.
