Ahmadinejad to visit Baghdad Thursday

(IraqiNews.com) The Iranian former President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is scheduled to visit Baghdad today for two days to hold meetings with the Iraqi officials.

The Foreign Ministry of Iran stressed on last Tuesday that Ahmadinejad will visit Iraq by end of current week.

Ahmadinejad’s visit comes in response to his counterpart, Jalal Talabani’s invitation but he will be received by the Vice President, Khudhair al-Khuzai as Talabani is in Germany for treatment.
