VP Khuzaiye to Ahmedinejad: Iraq to contribute in developing Iran, Arab countries relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice President, Khudhir al-Khuzaiye, assured the readiness of Iraq to be a bridge to develop the relations between Iran and the Arab countries.

In a join press conference with the Iranian former President, Ahmedinejad, he said “We are going on in the improvement of the good relations with Iraq and its people which will positively affect the region,” noting that “We will be bridges to develop the mutual relations with the Arab relations.”

For his part, Ahmedinejad stated “The Iraqi-Iranian relations are exceptional and has it roots where the relations will help in spreading peace in the region.”

“We think that the Iranian and Iraqi peoples will help in settling the regional issues if they unit,” he added, describing his talks with Khuzaiye as “Good and positive.”

“There are no limits to develop the mutual relations and making use of the brotherhood ties among the countries in the region,” he concluded.
