Security official injured in southern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Internal Affairs Department within Nineveh Police Department, Colonel Ahmed Abbas, was injured in southern Mosul on Friday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A suicide bomber detonated his explosives targeting Abbas while he was heading to his work.”

“The police forces sent him to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
