Urgent – Car bomb goes off in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A suicide car bombing took place in Sumer neighborhood of eastern Mosul on Saturday evening.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The suicide bomber targeted an Iraq Army headquarters,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a woman and injuring 25 others including five soldiers and a woman.”

“The security forces closed the explosion area and transferred the dead to the morgue and the injured to the hospital,” the source concluded.

Baghdad witnessed a series of bombings killing and injuring dozens of citizens on Saturday evening.
